I never understood why Relic doesn't do separate balancing for 3v3 and 4v4.
Meaning that changes only affect these game modes. So you can say e.g. OKW gets 10% less fuel in 3v3 and 4v4 but 1v1 and 2v2 still stays as before.

as usual i am going to talk about weakness of USA Yeah as annoying as usual.
Is there a hotkey for not getting your tanks destroyed? I'd love to know that! US tanks can be repaired by the crew after the fight. German tanks can't. No German tank except the superheavies Tiger/King Tiger will do a squad wipe with a single shot only with a lot of luck (which is also needed with the mentioned super tanks). M8A1 will also snipe German units over a large area. Greyhound canister shot will squad wipe in 9 of 10 times.
And they are much more expensive. Yeah maybe an OKW Shreckblob is pretty dangerous but getting Panzershrecks for you PzGrens is expensive as hell and lowers the anti inf capabilities down to 50%.
Only OKW can. Ost cannot. And OKW is much more vulnerable to squad wipes. A dead vet 3 rifle squad is sad but can be replaced. A dead vet 5 Obersoldaten squad is crucial.
They can fire grenades.
Maybe it's you but a well played Priest can be Fritz's horror. In addition US has the M8A1 and the field artillery. Stuka zu Fuß is the ONLY German artilley (except for mortars) worth anything. LeFH is pure luck and the stationary artillery is weak as hell. I won't even mention the Panzerwerfer.
Don't get close to them. Sturmpioneers are expensive and they have incredible long reinforcement time. Sure Echelons are bad but you can't rush through open field on a rifle squad with Sturmpioneers.
If you manage to kill the Schwerer Panzer HQ you will usually win. A dead Flak HT is not as bad as that. The HQ can't move. After you have seen it once you know where it is.
US grenades are better than German ones. It costs fuel because of balancing reasons. Otherwise Rifles would dominate every OKW unit in every range expect Obersoldaten.
So don't put your major into the middle of the field, use it defensively. The OKW medic station has no Puma and no Stuka. It has the Jgdpz4 which IMO sucks, the LeFH which also sucks most of the time and the UHU that's useless without a Stuka.

360° would be awesome. Even 180° would but it's afaik 130°. They suppress far slower than Maxims and the Incendary round will take ages to load. If you see an enemy Mg34/42 not shooting for a long time on your car just leave the radius.
It costs a lot of ammunition and you can hear it a long time before it drops. Move the most likely target and the German will lose 240 ammunition.
Yes Pumas are very strong but they lack AI. If the OKW player will put out a Puma at first you can overwhelm him with infantry.

Good morning soldiers I was a relatively huge fan of the commander rotation which happened to happen some months ago and I don't understand why they stopped it. Sure all the "premium" commanders appeared but why not continue from the start again or with mixed factions this time? AFAIK it was all the time either 2 commanders for OST/SOV or OKW/US but never OST/US or something like that. It really added a interesting feature. What do you guys thing? In: COH2 Gameplay |
