Thread: Jaeger Light Infantry vs. Pathfinders21 Jul 2014, 04:09 AM jaegers are crap for the price, who in their right mind would use these guys over panzer fusiliers? 55mp to reinforce a single guy, lower squad size and even worse DPS than falls or obers despite being more expensive to maintain (Oh and no AT grenade/faust). For me pathfinders are not really comparable, you build one squad to set your beacons up and they sit back as a sniper lite support unit for the rest of the game. Maybe if you are feeling particularly jammy you might recrew an AT gun with them to make use of their superior LoS. In: COH2 Balance

Zis guns kill trucks super easily. Not to mention demo charges and mines, which are a nightmare to defuse as okw. In team games you will always have one player rushing stuka which usually comes out around the 8min mark, good luck trying to protect your maxims/ZiS/snipers then. Sturms also get minesweepers like an other factions so I don't see how mines are a "nightmare" to defuse In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Raktenwerfer14 Jul 2014, 16:27 PM Indeed these things are pretty damn good once vetted, thanks to their pen/RoF they can even crack open KV-8's and IS-2's when supported. Hell if I am playing US and I sense an Elefant/JT/KT on the field I will make it my mission to recrew as many of these things as possible just because their penetration is just so much superior to the 57mm. Just make sure you play to their strengths, they lack constant green cover like any other AT gun so make sure you use buildings/sandbags and the retreat function if needed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Walking Stuka11 Jul 2014, 06:37 AM Decrease the damage vs buildings (No more one shot building wipes). Decrease the range ever so slightly and I think the stuka will be in a good place. What annoys me at the moment is how useless the katy/panzer werfer in comparison to this thing. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Broken balance - Soviets vs OKW8 Jul 2014, 18:13 PM PanzerII I find is very useful, especially against soviets that rely on call in armour or US players that go for the AA HT/Ambo. Hell even if they rush out a Sherman your PanzerII/obers would have done enough damage by then to make it worth it. In: COH2 Balance

The Stuka will one hit kill troops in buildings, regardless of vet/numbers because they destroy the building 95% of the time if you place the rocket pathing on top. The OKW ISG or wehr mortar are also very effective, mortar halftrack even more so with incendiary rounds. In: COH2 Balance
