I have a Creative sound blaster X-Fi Titanium HD and the audio technica ATH-AD700 headphones.

Never had any issues with creative drivers, maybe because I uninstalled all onboard realtek audio drivers. seing some posters are soundblaster X-Fi users I have a couple of questions.

Which encoder do you use for gaming? DTS, Dolby or no encoder? I wonder if encoding does a difference for gaming?

I just run CoH 2 with CMSS-3D enabled on game mode, EAX, no encoding.Then set up 5.1 on CoH 2 options.

Finally, what's your stance on X-Fi Crystalizer? Never used it myself sounds gimmicky.

I agree with the OP.

I played CoH 2 at launch then abandoned it as it was going downhill. Then picked it up again when the March deployment patch that overhauled infantry combat was released. Later came the April vehicular combat overhaul patch and oh boy the game is improving a lot.

I alpha tested WF a bit, only 26 hours, and I got to say that the released OKW has nothing to do with the alpha version of it and it's for the better. Relic did listen to the testers feedback.

Thus Relic is listening, now if only they would give a long look at the Red Army in CoH 2. It has glaring design issues and needs to be re-design to stop the cheese builds.

Ostheer is wonderfully designed, USA Armed forces too (They just need a Heavy tank, Pershing or Jumbo Sherman). OKW has some little design issues but is very viable. The Red Army is just not viable without abusing cheese tactics. No amount of balancing will fix a faulty design, it justs makes the soviets UP or OP on a patch to patch basis.

Do that and CoH 2 will be perfect.

Inquiry: If using the lend lease commander for the Red Army can you still use the fuel drops against OKW?

Or will the base flak emplacements rapidly shoot down the cargo plane as it flies from the enemy's base towards yours?

Havent tried yet in-game.

If anything, Soviet tanks (with their bigger and more reliable engines on the whole) should get Blitz.

Panther would be the exception to this, but everything else...

Panzer IV and T-34 weighed roughly the same.

The T-34 had a 500 HP engine with wide tracks.

Panzer IV had a 300 HP engine with thin tracks.

Agreed. But Relic can't give the Red Army, nor the USA Armed forces good tanks otherwise all the german fanboys will start crying and we'll never hear the end of it seeing they are stuck on their delusional bigotry of german tank superiority.

Still don't get why people called the old blitzkrieg useless, going from 0 to Full speed in 1 sec while reducing your target size did save your panzers if used properly. Maybe most of the playerbase did not adapt to the new mechanic and used it reactively instead of proactively.

Personally I would lean for the acceleration bonus, the target size decrease and +10% increased max speed. However the speed buff should only kick in if moving forward and not in reverse.

The Ostheer already has the fastest medium/heavy tank in the game with the Panther, PIVs are just a bit slower than the T-34/76s, so they don't need a 50% increase in speed while blitzing.

I can just catch Jacksons and wreck them with panthers blitzing every single time. They stand no chance due to their frail armour, speed and range was the only thing that gave them an edge. But Blitz counters them hard. It's similar against SU-85s.

Like I said buckers, fashion does have some relevance in war and no amount of insults will change that fact. I myself know a few other people who said they would join the Canadian Army if the Government makes combat uniforms that look good/stylish, so I have no doubt there were many people like myself during WW2, but this is indeed veering a bit off topic.

As for Death's Head avatar, you do realise that "Death's Head" is an actual symbol that predates Nazi Germany, right? If my memory serves me right, the Death's Head symbol was used roughly 170 years ago by Prussian hussars under King Frederick, so it's definitely not a symbol exclusive to Nazi Germany, that's for sure.

Why don't you just cross the border to the USA and join their armed forces. They're the biggest spenders when it comes to make uniforms merely based on the "Chicks Dig It" factor and with the most useless camouflage ever.

The cutting edge of camouflage has been demonstrated by the Russian Army in Crimea:

They showed up overnight.
And invaded Crimea without firing a shot.

Uniforms with no flag, no names, no insignia, and no rank with their faces covered by balaclavas. Russia denied the invisible army and they still do; insisting it was all a grass-root people's revolution.
