Unfortunately it is the only way to exactly reproduce a situation, so that performance impact can be compared from one test to another (after changing settings, etc). The closest second would be to watch the same replay and auto-follow the same unit with the camera. Now that I think about it, it might be possible for modders to create/script something so that we could have a better benchmark that is reproducible? In: Hardware and Tech
