Hmm those ingame screenshots confure me. It clearly is the coh1 HUD. DId they make the ice and snow in vCoH first and then ported it over?
Or did they just copypaste the hud in coh2

COH2 is actually older than vCOH. It was originally to be Russians vs Germans but at some point in development they swapped it to being Americans vs Germans, at least that is what i heard from a trustworthy source.

boy that worldbuilder looks a whole lot like the coh1 worldbuilder. hey, if its as good as the last one (which was great) but the bugs are gone and new stuff is in, ill be a happy camper

My guess would be that the editor itself pretty much looks/works the same, but with updated functionality.

They should've just doubled the resolution of tiles and splats instead of keeping the standard from 2006
