is there a way to edit this on a existing map
If the map is not complicated, you can make a STAMP of it (a copy) then STAMP it (paste) onto a new map the size you want.
Maps also have an interactivity stage that is manually painted by the mapper. So you can gain a little size from that, at the cost of the soft faded area around the map.
