Neither the attack speed bonus nor Bofors ability do not become available when next to Forward Assembly with states that it should activate these.
Placing a unit inside might give the ability, but it will not give the attack speed bonus.

Forward Assembly
The aura is being removed to decrease the potency of massed emplacements while the structure is given utility to provide more reliable healing over Infantry Sections.

Cost 250 to 200
Can be upgraded with medics for 60 munitions; all upgrades exclusive
Emplacement garrison aura removed
Advanced Fortifications upgrade removed
Repair Station engineers no longer repair the Assembly itself

The FA was "balanced" in order to discourage British Sim-City which is basically just spamming emplacements all over the place in the immediate vicinity of it which in turn makes it very hard for your opponent to dislodge you from that position unless high amounts of concentrated artillery is used.

The other option is just going around said position and cutting it off, if the British player is heavily investing in static and annoying units that just means he doesn't have the mobile forces to respond to let's say a flank.

It's a pretty easily counterable tacic but it's just annoying for the other side that's all. If it were up to me I would have made emplacements in a totally different manner to be both practical and balanced.

any every time u try this ur retreating units will be run back into the bofors and will be killed easy. doesnt work most time

Make your mind, you want to talk about games with skilled people or games with people who use bofors.

And if you go around heavy sim city, what is going to force retreat on you?
The guy will not have any army.

oh. u mean the brit player will sit around with his squads and look how u decap him and will not do anything against it? did u know, that the bofors doesnt delay ur armor that much, cause of cheap 30 fuel?

and speaking of skilled player doesnt build bofors: there are hundreds of games form top 100 players which build bofors in teamgames ...everyday..every hour.

maybe u should play the game ...not hang around only in the forum.

How large army you believe someone with bofors, pit, FA and possibly something else in the area will have?

It isn't exactly menpower light and you'll have to sacrifice something, which is either infantry presence or delaying armor due to lack of mp.

THis mp he hasnt it for building squads. Did u know that this emplacments make seriuos dmg ...exspacily vs infantery?

so this mean...yes it cost mp to build it..but they will deal dmg so your oponent need to retreat and reinforce ...this cost mp! u need to kill only 10 models with mortar emplacment so the enemy need in most cases 300mp to reinforce...hups! ur emplcemnt paid for it self. after the 11model u have the advantage. And now dont tell us: than cap the other side. in most cases this emplcament safe most important points. or u play teamgames and can easily safe ur side while building up ur army.

u doesnt care if u bofors/ mortar will killed in the 15-20min mark. it safes ur area vs anything till mediums armpor comes on field. ur theory from killing emplcament without no mp bleed sound good on paper...doesnt work in realtiy.

These stats are all available in-game.

As for the Ostwind price compared to the Bofors. Bofors has a side-tech cost and is not mobile, hence a cheaper price.

Why then FRP still has that dot-circle around it? That circle used to indicate radius of emplacement bonuses but now should be reduced to indicate something (reinforce radius etc) or removed at all.

Because changes are being made, but texts and visuals are not updated to match.

I see a reason we couldn't get new models, animations and voicelines, but is it so hard to edit texts and visuals? This game never was obvious, but now it even becomes delusive.

I honestly don't see a problem in allowing us to at least mix models to create entirely new units, like for example replacing the gun on the M10 with the Firefly's 17 pounder to create the Achilles.

This trailed away a bit...
So i understand that the FA aura has been removed, ok(altough the game states it isnt), but neither placing an unit in garrison does not grant the attack speed buffs, rotation, etc

The "Buffs" were removed as well I believe, only the mortar pit's increased rate of fire and the Bofors suppression barrage remain if a unit garrisons them, the 17 pounder cannot be garrisoned anymore.

Emplacements gets hard countered by ATGs, and ATs are also really good against tanks, so brits get double screwed by one unit.

oh. u mean there are brit player which doesnt defend their emplacments with any other stuff? if u lost your emplacment 1-3 times. trust me...you think about possibiltys to deny this.
