Not entirely sure how to recreate, but its possible that units tagged by the Valentine/IR Halftrack will remain tagged for the rest of the game.

Mrsmith and me failed sadly to fix it

But maybe we were able to fix it in this new mod. Have to test it out, if it works now.

Since WFA release and counting. Hopes aren't high.

It might not had been as "prevalent" on release because it require either an OH partner, a stolen weapon or a specific commander (non doctrinal was harder). After rework, unless you only spam Volks, there's plenty of ways for it to happen.

I noticed this happen more often than not and typically after using a IR HT or valentine scan for extend period.

Being wondering if it is a result of the scan unit switching on and off, ie needing to relocate it or it's something to do with the state of the unit that is being scanned or some weird interaction.

Its only a few units that end up permanently tagged.
