Thought we needed to mention a couple of good things about the game.
-I personally LOVE the new cap system. I didn't think I would but it's a very nice change.
-True sight is also very nice feature, can't believe it took all this time for a strategy game to do this.
-I like the addition of watch tower and repair station and think it should be implemented in more maps.
-Ice cracking is cool (please don't talk about blizzards,we all know)
-Footprints and tracks in winter maps is nice.

True sight already exist in RTS like Men of War, and it's even better with each crew member in a tank having his own line of sight for example. The good thing with COH2 is you can now hide behind houses and hedges but you also have your fair share of weird things.

Im tbh pleased with the whole game, it has everything vCoH had with improvements that i like (and the small ones that are worse dont affect me as much i guess)

i like the smoke. i wish it lasted 2 seconds longer.
i like the units design.
i like ramming.
i like that matches last less. (i feel like)
more variety of grenades.
units are very different from each other.

Yes, new cloaking system is great, much better than in vCoH
Also i started to very like capping areas and true-sight and possobilities related with it like working smoke screens and ambush possibilities, yet tanks could had slightly smaller FOV at rear and sides

I like the light vehicle use in the mid game, even if that mid game can be a bit short lately. It's still nice to see things like Scout Cars, Armored Cars, and more.
I also really like the way planes work, especially now with the new loiter mechanics. Although AA could use tweaking, the whole thing given time is becoming a great mechanic.

Off-map vehicles having fuel costs just seems so much better to me.
None of those scorched earth booby traps. Those were worse than the Brits.
People in 1v1 are so much nicer than they were in COH 1 by the time I got into it. In 2v2 it's only marginally less ragey, but there you have it.
Bulletins and commanders visible pre-game makes for some interesting mindgames.

- no useless mortars;
- no CHEATING veterancy for Germans;
- snipers cannot rape so easily like in COH1;
- soldiers die faster so there is no any lucky bastard who can run through two riflemen squads and not die;
- more possibilities for comebacks - in COH1 if you lose fuel at the beginning it's an end for you;
- AA units now can be REALLY helpful;
- RED FUCKING ARMY!

Oh! The veterancy change to give and receive damage. A great change to help even out the playing field and allow late purchase infantry to have a chance to gain vet. Same for weaker vehicles and guns.

OH, and I forgot about one awesome (yet small) thing in CoH2 I very like - Game time counter on top, you don't need to use stopwatch to know if you're good with time .
Also upkeep system In CoH 2 is very nice too, It's challenging to keep the lead and allow to come back and fight after loosing one engagement ;-).

Truesight cant be stressed enough and smoke in combination with this.
The commander system, brings alot of flexibility into choice of doctrine and more personal way to play.
Cappingzones, no more cheesy bikepushes.
Sinking tanks through Ice.
Overall enjoying teamgames more in CoH2.
Vet abilities on all units and a vet system that makes more sense.
