Yugoslavia would be a good choice...Tito's partisans waged a full-scale war against the Nazis and were recognized as the liberators of Yugoslavia. The partisans were a permanent thorn in the Nazi's side and they liberated the country themselves essentially. They had an actual army with 800,000 soldiers by 1945. Not sure how mechanized they ever got though...

I highly doubt that we gonna see new units in the Commanders until they finish all the matches with the current abilities. Which if you calculate will take sometime, especially with the pace Relic releases them
