With the current meta game though (pretty even split at the mid game), you can definitely get a t34 (a lot cheaper than ostwind) before ost gets an ostwind, so I don't see the issue. You don't really need a T-70 atm since early elite infantry gives you early advantage to at the least hold a fuel point and regularly contest the ost fuel. Just hold out for a few minutes for t-34s which can last the whole midgame.
