They already got satchels that destroy garrisons and flamers may be a bit over the top. Its a risky ability like satchel charge so it would fit their design imo In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Remove the flamer from penals or14 Aug 2016, 14:31 PM Penals are specialist unit that has no AT and less durable than conscripts(cons have better defensive vet). All you need is focus them down every time you see them, same way as you always focus on shocks first. Penals are still much less used than maxim spamerino, so it obviously shows that even with them being buffed T1 is less useful than T2. The only way to pull off a T1 opening with penals(or sniper) is to always use guards and rush an SU-76 asap before you get rekt by Luchs or double 222. And with T2 you are completely safe against any threats and dont need doctrinal stuff as much as with t1. In: COH2 Balance

Only problem is that their grenades are bugged sometimes and take forever to throw(same for other units that can throw nades) and relic doesnt give a 2 cent about that bug since the creation of the universe In: COH2 Balance
Thread: has RELIC given up on COH2-DOW3 has been announced ?12 Aug 2016, 10:13 AM OPTIMISATION and CONNECTION. These are the weakest sides of CoH2, not balance. Balance would be easier to focus on when you have optimisation and connection issues already solved. Imagine if you had a Lamborgini, but its engine would suddenly die few times during a ride and it couldnt go faster than 100kmh, that is coh2. Fix fundamentals first then add new stuff like factions, dlcs etc.. No improvements in optimisation and connection quality for a long time means Relic given up long time ago(at least for me). I hope DoW 3 gets: 1)better optimisation 2)less bugs 3)less connection issues 4)improved Observer mode(with an option to replay from any given point of time without need to restart the replay completely) 5)improved commander and drop system(dont know how it will look in dow3 but my guess is there will be some sort of drop system and ability to buy these items with dlc), 6)cool mod tools that allow not only to mess with current content but add new uniqe content In: Lobby

Thread: How to counter OKW locking down cutoff20 Jul 2016, 13:36 PM as soviets there is no reason to use something else than Guard Motor against both OKW and Ostheer. Get a 120mm mortar. Its simply the best and cheesiest weapon against OKW trucks. Use Attack ground on the truck, 120mm will safely shoot forever through half of the map and eventually will take down the truck or repairing pios. If its a battlegroup HQ with retreat point then its even better, just attack ground the spot to where enemy units retreat and collect free kills. Enemy will have to retreat all the way back to the base or lose a lot of squads. or just 2 standard mortars as both Soviets and USF. Just keep them around and use attack ground on the truck. They will take it down even quicker, but need to stay pretty close, so you need to protect them. In: Strategy Desk
