WBP 1.9.1 notes mention a suppression bug fix.
Does this have anything to do with a rare bug where captured MGs become completely incapable of suppression?
To my recollection I have had both a maxim recrewed by volks and an MG42 recrewed by cons experience this bug (live and WBP). I wasn't able to replicate it in cheatmod though.

No. The v1.9.1 bugfix makes it so that MG suppression is set to 0, unless they are targeting infantry.

Ok, cheers. I don't appear to have saved any replays of the bug unfortunately. I'll be keeping an eye out in future though.
