hmm. it looks better.. although the performance did not seem smooth (i know alpha...) but it looks like it performs better than coh2 :).

still dont like colour palette but it is very good looking game.

it will be interesting to see a person actually playing it though.

it is kinda weid how they never mention CoH though. i mean, it is a pretty different game but it will be nice to get a mention :). Like when talking about mod support, why would you not speak about how you have improved mod support for CoH2 instead of basically saying "yeah, DoW I and II have tons of mods still poupular".

This is only a continuation of the trends started in DoW2. Moving away from the positional-based gameplay of CoH towards the ability-based gameplay associated with MOBAs.

In fact I'm worried they've gone so far that I'll care more about positioning in Dota2 than I will in DoW3.

5 Days slow :P

Might look like a good game to some but to me it doesnt look like a good DAWN OF WAR/RELIC game

Its likes seem a bit off, it was the same with Warhammer: Total War but that was mainly due to the Chaos DLC the game itself seems good

Also Kyle is a better speaker than whoever that guy in the video was

I'm probably gonna skip it.

None of the reasons i love warhammer 40k and dawn of war franchise are there.

-Sync kills gone.
-Cover system gone, it is now retard proof area bubbles.
-Gritty authentic feel gone too.
-Natural uneven movements gone, entire squads move like hive mind synced automatons.
-Terminator jumping like an Eldar on roids...THRONE!!!! WHAT IS THIS HERESY!?!?

Sorry Relic, you got me really pumped with the awesome cinematic trailer and then crumble my excitement with the gameplay demo+design choices.

The game feels impersonal with its new art style.

I do not endorse what has unfolded in front of my eyes. Nevertheless I will persevere patiently until the final product.

My wishlist for dow3:

- GOOD OPTIMIZATION. This cannot be stressed enough. PLS RELIC. Good optimization >>>>>>> everything else.

- NONE OF THE P2W BULL. Just take Warspoils 2.0 as an example, and implement it, it's good enough.

That is all. I know that there are bound to be bugs and balance issues along the way, but all that can be easily fixed after the game is released, through patches. But these two points that, if ignored or overlooked while still in development, will definitely hurt the game and its image on release thereby stunting its playerbase growth and popularity (and ur $$$). Y'know, like what happened to CoH2.

I hope Sega learned it lesson, that in the case of RTS games, you actually have to make GOOD and PLAYABLE games to have good sales (for example, Total War: Warhammer)

Rock Paper Shotgun has a pretty long hands on report. Overall very positive, highlights like:

"That final fight is the realisation of both the army construction that base-building allows and the close tactical attention that the active skills and hero units demand. If it can be replicated through the rest of the campaign, Dawn of War III will be a triumph."
