Resource Points in Team games

Anyone like the idea of decreasing the resource income for each territory point by 1 in team games? I can't speak for 3v3 and 4v4, but in 2v2s I would be curious to see how it affects gameplay. I tend to attribute most of the frustrating elements of 2v2s to resource inflation, especially with caches being far more common. It seems like it makes avoiding vehicles until late game/heavies far more viable than it should be, but that's just me. Thoughts?

I got used to current pace of 4v4 games, so I don't see point in this change.
Actually, I even like the "clusterfuck aspect" of 4v4 games.

Actually the maps need a rework. They have no cut offs and too many points.
