Really, this unit is annoying to use. You have to reverse everywhere, and I often forget that the unit is the other way around, so it does a 180 turn. I've lost lots of AA halftracks this way.

Pls relic, make the side that shoots the front

It's historicaly accurate, it can't shoot from the front, the gun is too big, it would kill the driver.
And being such a strong anti-inf unit exposing the rear it's at least some kind of weakness.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. I meant that to make it so it automatically drives forward its rear end in front, so you don't need to reverse it everywhere.

it did fire 360 for some time after a patch, and the result was it being glitchily animated and too powerful.

historical accuracy isnt necessarily a bad thing and in this case its well implemented.

Besides the fact that it automatically turns to shoot AND you can always order it to drive in reverse...

It's quite annoying when u reverse it somewhere and click on a unit to target then it will try spin around to drive forward instead of just reversing back (think this is what the OP is getting at). Though this may only happen if the unit is outside of the firing arc, not sure.

It wasn't really too powerful tbh, it was simply ease of use change.

But it didn't looked good at all.
