As far as I know:
If a unit without collision fires on another unit and the shot hit the ground under the "hitbox" of the target unit, then it can damage the target via AOE penetration/damage....
In other word a Comet without a projectile can damage other vehicle if the target "hitbox" is in the AOE of the shot when it detonates...

Biggest lawl would have been before anyone knew either issue, but attack ground with s comet on a cloaked JP4. So much troll that a vortex of sacred protection opens up.
