i know its off topic.

its still mind boggling to me how some people cannot spell mortar correctly. its mortar. it always has been mortar. why do you insist on saying or writing mortor. why.

i got nothing constructive to say otherwise.

I wasn't able to repro this one. Do you have any other Steps? Was the the HM-38 120mm Mortar or the PM-41 82mm Mortar?

Thanks

IIRC shoot at maximum range, where part of the circle is outside it's casting range.

Just happened to me last game, it's either this or moving the mortar immediately after it launches the shell.

A bit off topic, but how do flares give you loline of sight in the first place? I can see why they are used to mark targets for artillery strike, but give vision? Doesnt make sense to me.

After sunset flares were used at the time to lighten enemy positions so that artillery or snipers knew where to shoot. Such flare ammunition was produced to many different types of guns. This is reflected in soviet mortars and snipers having them to uncover FoW.

Ok so they were used to light up the field when it was dark out. What about in the day time?? Im just saying, flares in this game some how show you exactly where the enemy is as if there are video cameras living streaming the place they were dropped back to Head quarters. Seems kinda silly to me.

if it's not deducting the mun and doing nothing it's freezing up the mortar until you press stop. super buggy and frustrating ability that works properly maybe 50% of the time.

It looks like its only on the PM-41 Mortar Team. Moving them after they fire the Flare causes the Issue. Thanks

I have had the same or a similar issue with the 120 as well. I will try to reproduce it.

At 24 minutes a 120mm mortar uses a flare ability which consumes the munitions and goes on cool down but does not fire.

This game also ends in a mysterious surrender that only 1 person (the one who called for it?) requested according to the other guy i spoke with after the game. This was brought up by myself a few weeks ago in this thread. I will discuss that issue there and which log file you want.

Added the 120 to the issue. I'll watch the replay and see if there something with the Surrender.
