why coh 2 dont have atmosphere option like coh 1 ?

OH! yea I know what you mean, I would like to see maps have more variety crossing in the woods rain and what not. light snow would also be a cool little add on thing.

The issue is that their maps don't have a variants like the coh1 maps did so you cant select others.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it had something to do with Coldtech being incompatible with normal weather.

Yeah I also miss more graphics quality settings.

I miss those settings. If optimization would be a problem, there could just be a "Disable weather effects" in the options.

Didn't rain in CoH1 cause insane FPS drops on lower-end systems? Also, unlike the blizzards/cold-tech, I don't think it would add anything to the gameplay - so why bother?

I mean, yes, it would look nice, but is the FPS drop really worth it for a purely cosmetic change? Chances are many players wouldn't even be able to play with it on, so the user base that would even get a use out of it would be very small.

Let's get CoH2 running well BEFORE adding more graphics options.
