I wanted to know what you think guys about the t34 utility because before it was in the t3 so it was able to coe erlier in the game but now if we control half the map and a fuel point each the panzer 4 comme earlier.

PLus as we know the p4 is betterand the power of the t34 was that we were able to make 2 of them before wher get tanks out so now it is pretty ueless in my opinion.

The t34 have bad armor good speed and poor penetration so against tanks its week and it seem that as soon as it come out the t34 need to fight p4 so now im just making su85 with t34 85.

What do you think guys about putting back the t34 76 in t3 and higher the price of the building just to prevent too early spam.

THanks for your reply

Make it cost 105 feul and increase it's power. Also tier 4 need to be cheaper so the t-34 arives at the same time as other mediums.

Relic give Soviets T-34/76 from year 1941, to fight versus late war tanks from 1944.

Not true!

It's the next best alternative when the surrender button freezes!

It's mostly fine.
It is only 80 fuel so it is quite easy to get 2 of them. Combine them with some tank-destroyers like an SU85 or a pair of SU76 and you have got yourself a nice hammer/anvil combo. Flank enemy armor with the T34s while hammering away at them from the front with tank destroyers. If this is too much micro for you, pick a doctrine with shermans, T34/85s or IS-2s.

If the T34/76 needs any buff it is a slight DPS increase on its machine guns; at the moment it relies too much on the main gun to deal with infantry and that is really RNG dependent. No more than that.

Not bad for 80 fuel. You can buff it but only with price increase.

You can ram a Kubel with it. But then Kubel will get stuned and escape after 2s and you will end with broken engine and gun. :foreveralone:

It's not bad for it's price, but let's imagine you can get Luchs or 251/17 for 35/25 fuel at 13min. They would be good for the price but quite useless.

Anyone who thinks light tanks have no place in the lategame has a lack of imagination.

Lategame light tanks are excellent for wiping squads on flanks. They are also the best bait to draw enemy Armor to the flanks, where you can ambush them and pick them off while they are away from their AT-gun support.

And this is excatly what T34/76 is doing.
So there's the point. T34/76 is doing job of the light tank, not medium tank.

The T34/76 is fine for it's cost. It fulfills it's role. If you want to play soviets with serious medium armor play one of the T34/85 commanders. That thing is OP as hell.

Please, leave our T34/76 alone. If you find it useless you're using it wrong.

It's in a weird place, because for its price you'd think it would be a good unit to really rush out, to catch your opponent by surprise and force him to respond. But since you have to tech t3 before t4 it's almost never, ever a good choise to get one. They are only effective when you have three or four of them, and even then there is no garantee whatsoever that they will be able to destroy a Tiger, or even a Panther for that matter. The penetration is just not good enough and that combined with too many resources spent on teching to t4 doesn't make this a viable tactic.

It would be nice of course if they were either cheaper or got a slight penetration buff, but to be honest I'd rather see Relic do something about Volkgrenadiers and their insane versatility.

There are already alternatives for people who want to use 'true' medium tanks with soviets: T34/85s and Shermans.

The T34/76 is more of a hybrid tank. It combines some of the good and bad parts of light and medium tanks. It crushes light tanks (bar the puma, which is a tank hunter itself) and won't die instantly on the front line due to it's 640hp. It however can't mow down infantry like light tanks and it can't take on other medium tanks in long range front-to-front combat. It can however take on much more expensive enemy tanks when flanking. The T34/76 is priced accordingly for this role, as it is only 80 fuel. It is a cheap jack of all trades, master of none unit; which is perfect for the soviets as they have easy access to a large range of specialist vehicles.

T35/85 should be non-doc while T34/76 should be double call-in at 7-8 CPs for 450MP 150F.

As I see it, it mostly combines the bad parts of both. It can barely touch anything above PIVs unless the other player is comatose, is fragile, and its DPS against infantry is very RNG dependent. If you want a vehicle that can harrass the flanks, you are often better off getting a T-70. And no one in their right mind techs to get the T-34/76.

I mean sure, it is cheap and that's nice, but with the power creep that has been in place since WFA hits the tank doesn't really have a role anymore. It mostly serves as an annoyance that is locked behind very expensive tech. I'd really rather make it doctrinal and makes the T-35/85 baseline.
