1. Make uncrewable, so if flanked the damage done to it can be more rewarding, (forces rear echelon to be built)

2. Increase the sound of the rockets firing

3. I think that's it, I find it balanced. I just think late game US takes advantage of the pop cap situation by decrewing them

You know, people complain not about Calliope barrage but it survability in the first place, so I wonder why they don't complian about more powerful strumtiger.



Longer reload and manual reload are not any disadvanatges. Decrew is acctualy a buff, since you can call another Sturmtiger. Range, again, has nothing to do since you are shooting from fog of war. Just a bit more micro.

More dagame to inf - top kek. Show me Calliope killing 30models in 1 barrage :snfPeter:

Sturmtiger is more potent in terms of wiping potential, has a way better survability yet you dont complain about it.

140 fuel is hefty for artillery only but if it is not that much of a nerf maybe it is a good idea to give calliope manual reload with crit chance? Axis would get their nerf and good players wouldnt feel that much of a difference.

Its not that great a unit. Its ok, its real draw is that it is hard to kill so can get close and fire into blobs. Honestly having it fire at single units, even when wiped is probably still a win for German players because of the long reload. Werfer is still better.

The unit is powerful without being overwhelming.

Pfff. Nearly every goddamn Axis unit is better than its Allied counterpart, and you whine about the Calliope. To me, this sounds like Axis fans who got too accustomed to their ROFLstomp easy team wins, and now have to adjust a bit. Oh no ! Looks like you won't be able to spam bunkers, or camp out next to your med truck/ panzerschwerer/ 2 x LEIGs/ MG34s ! Get over it. You have any idea how INFURIATING it is to play against Axis in team games ? And you have the nerve to whine like this every time Allies gets one good thing ? Can't say as I blame you, though, because it seems to work. Every time the Axis fans start to whine, Allies get fucked. So keep it up, maybe the next patch the Calliope will be made of papier-mache, and fire candy canes.

PS, and it comes at 10 CP. Plenty of time for your schrek blobs to seek and destroy.

Do not worry friends, as soon as Relic has sold enough units, it will be nerfed, just like everything else.

Just assume the rocket rack is the first thing to get hit in combat.

add a rocket rack critical to the unit so the calliope can't fire its barrage if it takes any damage.

Katyusha (specially after first salvo) > Stuka >>>>> Calliope 2nd/3rd barrage > Calliope/PW first barrage




At 50 penetration, 80dmg and just 20 at deflect. Hmmm i doubt it.

What world are you living in? The Caliope is better against infantry than werfer. AND GUESS WHAT?? IT CAN KILL TANKS AT MEDIUM RANGE. I've been having fun killing KTs with this beast. The only fix I think Caliope needs is make it so people cant decrew it.


It can damage tanks like all rocket launchers you know :snfPeter:

Guess what, werfer is 10x times better in killing potential, area denial, blob countering (and also way more faster compared to the calliope slugish speed)

Who knows its range and barrage cooldown stats?

Panzerwerfer,120m,100s
Walking Stuka,120m,120s

If it has some similar stats with the Walking Stuka, decrease the fuel cost to 100(as same as WalkingStuka), and decrease HP to 320(as same as Walking Stuka). It would be fine.
