How about bringing back some good memories from the CoH past?

Remember when...

... Ostheer weapon teams had only 3 men
... SU85 was the super tank that sniped even infantry?
... MG42 was in T1 (ok that one is not that old)
... OKW HQs had to be build in territories linked to each other? (WFA Alpha)
... OKW was meant to be Panzer Elite with capping Kuebels for a short time (Public Beta)
... Ostheer inf could get G43 AND LMG42
... Vehicles had no acceleration at all
... Bulletins could be unlocked via levels and 'quests' while most commanders had to be bought
... All Tanks had to be build in their respective buildings (Including EVERY call in tank)
... There were no weapon profiles
... Elefant, ISU and the PaK43 had 100 range
... Snipers could shoot out of vehicles
... SdKfz 221 had to be upgraded to the 222 for 60 munitions and lost its MG after that
... All commander abilities required half the CP?
... There was no 'Vehicle Priorization', only 'Toggle Fire'
... MGs could not be faced inside houses (also not long ago)
... Driving over a fireplace with a vehicle caused engine damage
... Fireplaces could not be built in blizzard conditions and only by pioneers
... The UI was Red/Green (See Here)
... Jagdtiger could shoot through sight blockers like PaK43
... Sturmtiger could NOT shoot through sight blockers

... 1280hp, 350armor, 60 range, 150 fuel panther.
... Penals were useful(pre vet change).
... Elefant was stock unit.
... Panzerwerfer in T3.
... Shocks started with mosins.
... soviets had barb wire fields.
... it took 5 T34/76 to fight a single P4 as 4 or less would be kited to death.
... no cooldown, constant barrage from L.e.F.H
... 4 minute flame 251 could be contered only and exclusively by guards and only before vet2, otherwise gg.
... axis armor and infantry became immortal at vet2.

-puma aimed shot 1 shotted building
-female partisans
-ram was actually useful and disabled axis armor
-KV8 insta wiped squads
-when grens had mark target
-when conscripts had zeal
-when 2+ tigers, IS2 could be called
-panzergrens could get single shrek

-In the Alpha you had the rip off US Armor Company commander from VCoH, that had literally the same abilities like Allied ' War Machine' but under a different name for the Soviets
-2 IS2s couldn't 2v1 a vet 1 Panther
-Mortars raped everything at launch :foreveralone:
-On early release the flame weapons looked like some red/orange lines a 5 year old had drawn
-Tiger ace and Windustry were the meta, the horrors
-Pgrens were total terminators
-Conscripts had 'for mother Russia' as a basic ability, improving fighting capabilities
-Pripyat River was in automatch map rotation
-In Alpha you could run over weapon teams with a tank :foreveralone:
-the alpha/beta 4v4 exploit on steppes and other large maps where the soviet team could spam their insane cheap t34s and just base rush the axis team in 15 minutes with 4-6 t34s each, fun times.

Remember when AT guns had increased damage on vet 2 and 3, giving it 320 damage at vet 3 and 2 shotting a pz IV Kreygasm,

Or when team weapons had no received accuracy penalty and machine guns could fire and suppress the enemy while they were pinned (Maxim Spam back in the day was the shit),

T-70's could crush infantry (Vonivan made his famous massed T-70's back then),

remember when Assault grenadiers beat everything and after that the Stug E came to kill, what was left of your army.

Soviet mortars/artillery had precisions strike ability at vet 1,

M5 Quad AA did 4dmg per hit (needed 1 full burst to kill a pioneer that was standing next to you)

remember when NKVD was good?, oh wait, its still quite bad :P (SiberianGT beat Majorownage, using NKVD, back when Major abused Assgrens and Stug E's, so maybe NKVD is secretly OP, since you needed Rank LVL, to unlock it)

remember when ostheer sniper was useless for about a year with his 40hp and dying to anything... Or when Soviet industry and 5minute T-70 was the META.

-Maxims were so supeessive the troops in its arc started to dig holes on their own
-The 120mm Mortar was the nuke mortar
-The T34 Rams

- The observer UI was completely ludicrous
- Old Guard Motor vs OKW
- Stalingrad
- Panzerwerfer when it couldn't kill
- 10 minute Sherman
- Light AT mines for USF
- King Tiger had 425 frontal armour

Its threads like this that really make me appreciate how wildly this game's balance, meta and gameplay has changed since launch.

aaaaaaand last but not least:

the OKW troop-split/salvage bug. Salvage an MG/PAK whatever and during the salvage process, recrew it with obers and get a second obers squad.
