As of this patch, the concentration barrage in the british artillery commander can no longer fire into the fog of war.
I'm honestly not sure if this is a design decision or an outright bug, since it makes an already bad commander completely pointless by removing the one genuinely useful ability it had. For the avoidance of confusion, this is the ability that costs 100 muni to fire your base howis. It's both more expensive and fires less shells than the regular section flares. If I have to get into sight range anyway, why bother with this ability?

The changed ability was the "Concentrated Fire Operation" from the Special Weapons Regiment commander. As far as I know, the ability from the Artillery Regiment, which is the one you are talking about, remains unchanged.

That's what I thought, but in game evidence shows that it has been applied to the arty commander as well. Perhaps I should have filed this as a bug since it's an undocumented change.
