From the looks of that image, although I haven't watched the replay, the glider crash landed. Basically, the glider was too heavily damaged on landing, and can't reinforce, build, or act as a retreat point.

Glider experienced a hard landing (crash landed) and abilities are disabled when that occurs. Thanks
