I always assumed it works out at 25% extra dps per IS/RE plus also helps with not getting wiped by ISGs. I never used to use it but now I do every game before I tech.

They shouldn't they have best late game basic infantry already


They seriously don't after the recent buffs allied infantry had

But the problem is thus: is 25& extra dps useful?

Are there any engagements where the extra man tyrns the tide? I could see it being useful vs ostruppen or sturmpios.

I've been using it a lot in 1v1 and it has its strengths but I sort of still feel teching sooner or universal carrier have a bigger impact.

However I am not playing the Brits outside of my rare AT games so I haven't properly found my feet with them yet so I'm not prepared to say this is a good COA or not


One thing it does do that's not been mentioned yet is that makes them harder to wipe, and means they can stay in a fight longer before needing to retreat

How practical is this? You shouldn't be leaving your squads in a fight until 4/5 men are dead. Maybe more damage is distributed evenly across the squad but that wouldn't make a huge difference.

And arguably a delayed command post means you have to wait longer to heal your squads since you can't upgrade them with medkits yet.

I could see it working out if you get some extra fuel income early on, but if you're fighting for map control this seems like a bad buy before t2 imo.
