Churchills HP (1400-1600) over the top

Both the croc/avre and stock Churchill seem to have too much health.

The HP of other tanks was reduced to 1280 max, now a 150 fuel unit can have 1600, seems rather IMBA.

Noticing it taking almost every AT unit on the map to take one of these out, then same situation again when another is built.

Overall, just plain silly amounts of HP

What if the fuel cost was increased to match the Comet (185)? Let not forget too that in the Normal Churchill's case, it's gun sucks compared to real heavy tanks. So I'm not sure decreasing it's health to match other heavies or even matching their cost would be the right approach. The health should make up for the smaller gun.

That's what he does. He tanks. The Crocodile and the AVRE are special and very dangerous, therefore their HP got nerfed already. If you would nerf the normal Churchill's HP, what role would he fill then? And if I would need to spend 185 fuel, I would just get a Comet instead. The normal Churchill does nothing to you that you couldn't do to your opponent as well. His only special trait is the large HP pool that allows him to move through a pak wall with some infantry covered in smoke. That's all he is for and that's what he needs to be.

Nerf the HP to 1280 or 1080, goddamn tanks are retreating all the goddamn times, even when you outplay them big time...

mk7 gun doesn't sucks its actually good and the avre and croc just bonkers they should have 800 health they arleady have such high armor

Well I certainly wouldn't mind the AVRE and especially Croc have Health nerfs to reflecting their diminished armoured appearance. How about these numbers for a health nerf?

Churchill Mk.VII (Non-Doctrine) = 1400 (Health still pretty high)
Churchill AVRE = 1280
Churchill Croc = 1080

800hp... what world do you live in


I think 1280hp for all and maybe less armour for the croc/avre would be fair place to start.

Something needs to be changed but brit late game needs to remain extremely strong unless changes are made to their early game.

health decrease to 1280 hp
KV-1 has less frontal armor, less health(800) while costing 145 fuel and the same shitty gun as the t34 76.
Big health pool is not a big deal but they also have 290 frontal armor.
Ad to that a average gun for 150 fuel and you have an overpowering tank.

It's true that they've smoke indeed, but still lost couple of tanks by ground attack move. So yes it increases it's survivability, but doesn't mean that it survives. Although I agree with your point.

Don't worry, relic said on one of last streams that they are looking at performance of KV series in comparison to churchills.
