After the recent joining Britons (in particular Churchill Crocodile), KV-8 looks bad. I suggest a few options:
1) Heightening flamethrower firing range
2) Simultaneous shooting a flamethrower and a 45-mm cannon
3) Option 1 + 2 together

Yeah, we don't need two crocs. The croc needs to be toned down and when it is, KV8 will look fine with its lesser CP requirement and so on.

KV8 needs small HP buff though. I think it has 800 or something, as a heavy it should take one more PaK shot.
Another thing is you can't use both main gun (although lackluster) and Flamer at the same time. This should also apply to Croc, and remove it from KV8 because the gun is too weak.

KV-8 is really shining with the new flame changes. It's in a lot better spot than before, but not Croc levels of OP since it can be killed and it doesn't have a main cannon. It's in a better place than before when it would spend 10 seconds bathing a model in flame before it finally dies. Now, for 145 fuel, it is a super effective anti-infantry tank. To buff it even further than this would bring it to the forefront of "x is OP" threads.

Have you even tried the KV 8 this patch? It hits you stronger than a centaur, wiping squads all day long.

KV8 is fine currently. Just as good at AI as the Croc, but can't take on mediums and massed AT like the Croc can, which is what makes the Croc OP.

I played 3 games and 2 of them kv8 win me it.
Only 1 of them i lost because kv8 get over mine and then decrew and used by my oponent.
I think leight is one unit that need to be adresed.
Its inta pin is so anoying. And opponent dont even need to micro it

Have you tried/faced a KV8 this patch? I got my face murdered by one, the high amount of damage it does now really caught me off guard. It's an excellent unit.

Exactly all Churchills are OP, they have too much HP for their cost.1400 is still a pain.

KV8 is great this patch, lots of damage, but fairly fragile so it can't roll forward into AT guns and obliterate everything (cough cough churchill croc).

Apparently equal to the Pz 4 penetration. I think it does less damage though. Can anyone confirm?

What ever it is, it can go toe to toe with any medium (Hi PzIV). Even with lower damage, it has huge HP advantage. Main gun should be disabled while using the Flamer, just like KV8. KV8's main gun is shit and it is disabled while you use flamer. Why?
