Are we really going to compare SU-76 barrage to stuka barrage?
SU-76 is weaker ZiS-3 on threads. I don't know what all the fuss is about here.
The SU-76 IS a ZiS gun on treads, it has the same pen and a similar barrage.

I think the SU-76 is a bit too cheap for it's effectiveness. But therefor if that one gets a fuelincrease (like 10) the Stug-III also needs a 10 fuel increase
come on buddy, no one used SU 76s and M5s before. They just got a buff and I think people are freaked coz they have been used to them being shit. Give it a bit more time

The SU-76 is incredibly spammable and it makes the SU-85 obsolete because they have the same pen but one is cheaper and can kill infantry. Honestly a reduction to 50 range or reduction to 55 range (with the StuG III getting bumped up to 55) with a minor cost increase would still keep the unit viable.
The M5 is brutally OP tho anyone defending it is insane.

The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Its just redicolous how and why they complain about m5 while its a mediocre unit.
Im afraid to think what axis will be doing here if there will be posssibility to play T1+T2 into T4. There wiil be their shit everywhere.
one vesion is that most of them are abusers who play heavy T1. If there will be only sov t1 and t2. Germs would base pin any player with that T1.

the t70, su-76, and the m5 quad were previously balanced with the expectation the ost/okw will have a stug/puma/jpz4 soon.
Now the soviet light armor arrive too early for their current strength. The ost 222 and infantry are just not capable of facing the soviet t3. The okw are also on a bigger rush to get the jpz4 and puma out as well.
The recent tech changes for the sov, usf, and Ost was a mistake.

FIRST. Gotta start the thread train somewhere.I feel the Soviet arsenal of units are some of the most overpowered and challenging things to deal with as Axis this patch, without proper AT support I can't counter the hordes upon hordes of Quads, SU-76s, and T-70s! Relic needs to nerf everything in t3 immediately.
It's rather their timing than their performance, tho the quad is indeed really strong.
I will simply lol at anyone expecting such a change to a 2 year old general use infantry.
Equally possible are pershing for USF, IS-3 for soviets or ober nerf for OKW.

and Zis dont get wiped from 3 tank shots. and don't need 4 shots to kill a puma, 6 to p4, 9 to tiger.
not to mention no turretness makes chasing on nothing but a straight lane hard and chasing around a corner, suicide.
the matter of fact is that there is a clear advantage of having zis over su76 and vice versa. -40 damage and +mobility don't just cancel each other out.

The SU-76's barrage is free, and the fact it can actually move without a pack up time means it can more reliably get shots in. Yes there is still merit in getting a ZiS gun but SU-76's can provide you with almost all your AT considering how fast they hit the field.

su76 needs some kind of a nerf for how effective it is both vs inf and tanks for its cost. The su76 is better compared with the stug3("wehr version) in cost efficiency, and while massed they become a reliable way to destroy the enemy inf and weapon teams. Either the light artillery ability needs to go or the price needs to go higher of how the "TD" is a both good vs tanks and inf. Most players just stay with the t3 as soviet just of how effective it is when massed.

If m5 is not OP then OKW AA HT is UP and setup time on it needs to be removed, so it can chase around map too.
