He seems to have confused the links we've been digging out of the emails for spam/third party something?

Rather than links taken directly from the emails sent to us by Relic Entertainment.

IDK to be honest. It was never official, but it was at least set up by relic or an affiliate. It may or may not return on the 28th.

People take apart game files for scraps of information and relic didn't really foreseen that people will do the same with emails?

All hail the NDA and glory to the warriors fighting against it and bringing us the contraband info from "hidden" sources

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

my take on this is they've added something to the game that they want the press to see/give them time to write about, hype w.e.

so, we can postulate that the changes are going to be both, new and substantial. my guess: factions/campaigns.

I'm in the same boat but I don't think there's any reason to keep most of the old versions around. I don't think Relic is using them for anything, except kinda sorta the closed balance alpha but even that isn't what it used to be.

Ah well I guess that's what a 2 tb hdd is for. Probably still need to uninstall a bunch of old stuff like that though soon.

Just a heads up guys, Relic has come out and said this is not real according to their Company of Heroes facebook page. The friend referral system was something they had thought about but was not implemented and they are looking at applications to see if you get in or not.

do you have a mac? if your using mail app on OS X you just go to View->Message->Raw source
