LOL most Warhammer fans that have any connection to the inside workings of Games workshop would know that they (Games Workshop) made this deal with Creative Assembly over two years ago. They had decide Warhammer (Fantasy not 40k) was more suited to the Total War style of play.

I however was unaware any deal between Creative Assembly and Relic, but considering GW partnership with Relic for DOW series it was kinda obvious.

Nice to see some change in the Total War series even though I don't know almost anything about Warhammer and other fantasy stuff. I guess it's just a break and they will return on historic Total War games again. :)

About a month for Attila can't wait to play it. :D

Fool me once; Shame on you (Rome II)
Fool me twice; Shame on me (Warhammer)
I am not putting my money anywhere near a TW game until they stop removing content for DLC, use a new engine and have a working game

It was terribad at release but Creative Assembly did a damn good job cleaning it up, its been a good game for a while now.

Do you guys agree that Creative Assembly seems to be biting more than it can chew, thus their game quality is suffering?

Creative Assembly had 5 "Total War" games in production at some point.

This is just the same thing that ended fucking up DICE: Working on BF4, Star Wars Battlefront, Hardline and an announced Battlefield game simultaneously.

And we all know how bad BF4 and Hardline turned out.
You can't polish a game with such workload and they just rushed them and fix them 2 years later.

Best thing we can do is not to pre-order and wait and see. TW: Warhammer looks good, but so did Rome 2 on Gameplay trailers before release...

When it comes to Total War, in Angry Joe I trust!

He certainly was quite, quite honest about TW:R2 haha - I really like TW:Attila.

CA made Alien:Isolation. That was an awesome game (just ask Joe).

Hardline was made almost completely by Visceral (Dead Space). I remember hearing that DICE was split working on BF3 and BF4, and BF4 development started around the same time or shortly after they were working on BF3. So the problem wasn't really lack of manpower or not enough development time, it was probably not enough testing or they broke something mid development but still pushed it out to door to release with the new consoles. They did do a great job fixing the game and patching it though, already released a new free map and have two more in development being made from commnity feedback on the CTE servers which is really good. I think they redeemed themselves for the shitty launch, same with TWR2.
