That was too much it was in a fair play as it was. I mean 470mp - 135fuel for a unit that can be take down very easily. It should deal the same damage as the Panther or Vet Faster in fact all Assault guns should vet faster.

It has 5 lvls of vet and it cant handle infantry! I have taken down 4 t34s and 2 HT with it in one game it still was only Vet2.

JP4 out DPS the Panther, it deals the same damage(160) and have a much faster Reload(4.3-5.2 vs 6.1-6.4) and 10 more range, it is weaker in penetration(200/185/170 vs 260/240/220).

JP4 have the smallest size(17) of all TDs and Medium Tanks(the rest are 22-24), it is even smaller than T-70/Luch(18) and Stuart(19), this makes it hard to hit at medium/long range with inaccurate weapons like tank guns and infantry AT. However I do agree the MP bump is unecssary.

If you have access to doctrinal G43's, you can now equip Pgrens with two shrecks (120 muni) and two G43's (40 muni).

Now why you would want a squad with Shrecks and G43's beats me, unless they adjusted the Pgren G43's? Also they are 5 munitions cheaper, but only on Pgrens.

Colour me confused.

They always could.

Only normal grens need to choose, because with both upgrade they were AI powerhouses for merely 240mp and even shocks struggled.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Ah right cheers, always thought Shrecks took up the weapon slots fully in PG squads.

Would be nice if they gave some reason to use G43's on Pgrens, but that is another story.

there is actually; it makes them better at long range and against kiting squads. narrow area of usefulness though.

Iirc, it's pretty marginal increase even at long range, might be worth it if all 4 men got the G43.

My theory is that someone somewhere told the balance designer to change some stats of unit X along with 100 other changes. He did that and pushed the changes into version control with a comment what he just changed. Then the community manager grabs the comments from the version control and slaps them into a forum post. Chances are either the balance designer or the community manager forget/miss some changes.

Probably because they don't use a version control system like git. If they do, they aren't using it very effectively. They reeeeeaaallly need to improve on this

No Ztormi, I don't think so because Cynthia definitely doesn't write the patch notes. Patch notes contain hard numbers which were definitely written for her beforehand unless she is actually an expert on diffing the files herself and making a comprehensive list. But if that were the case there would be no ninja changes
