that's why you re-size them. also the ones in the picture are huge they can be much smaller ive seen them they still look sweet.

link to view of small versions? Current basic

smiley is 20x20 w 1px transparent border (so actual smiley graphic is 18x18). Even these are slightly too big as they mess up the normal flow of content text.
