Hallo to everybody,

i want to state the obvious and hopefully you Guys (the community) will follow so maybe Relic realizes that and do something about it.

So, priorities

1) Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig BUG fixing patch (Since balance-fixing is so hard for Relic:D)

2) Optimization for this gorgeous Game so that more people can enjoy its full potential.

3) Balance the Game for all modes (as good as it gets). I know, some will say, first for 1v1s others say for 4v4s. I don't care to be honest, just get it done. This might be the toughest one but you have proven to us that you can do it (and sometimes not).

4) All the other stuff like new Units, Factions DLCs (please stop with that milking a cow DLC policy).

This is it!!!!

Thoughts?

I never understand why 3v3 and 4v4 are written of as "unfixable", these modes are half the game (probably more in real terms) and should be balanced even if it's just in the way of restrictions or multiplier bonuses that only apply during these sized games.

Sure 1v1's and 2v2's are great personal challenges and a good way to lord it over players (when you're half decent) but writing larger games off in the current way is unacceptable, especially in this day and age.

They should definitely fix the bugs and the most glaring balance issues such as Kubel. Although I love 4v4 mode, they need to get ready the game for the ESL.

Is the mg bug still in? I had a DSHK face the wrong direction yesterday.

Yes #1 priority: FIX BUGS.
#2: Fix balance in team games so its not just a ROFL stomp of allies.

This could've been laid out and written in a much more informative and constructive manner but I think it's the fact that everyone is aware of all these things that you have mentioned. We're just going around in a circle and the best we can do is to keep giving feedback and wait for the fixes to arrive.

I get your point Siberian and thank you for replying. But as you said, there are many Threads about this, i just wanted to write one just objectively. I mean only the points that count.

Anyway, i hope Relic will fix the millions (exaggeration) bugs first because they are really to many of them in the game. It is a win win situation if you think about it, the players will stop complaining + they will enjoy the game more and then Relic has more time to balance the Game.

How long did this phase take with vCoH? I wasn't around in it's first years, I think I started playing it in 2010ish.

Around 3 years and 2 expansions. Certain bugs remain to this day.

Well, the level of interaction and communication during the balance patch beta and 2.602 drummed up a lot of community support for the game and franchise. Mind you, this was around the time preorders for CoH2 were needed, so it makes sense in retrospect.

What I don't really understand is why in the world didn't they give USF more comanders with powerfull air strikes (and especially AT air strikes). That would be so realistic and USF would answer better to strong german armor in late game.

The reason is very simple, at the time of multiplayer, which is 44-45 Luftwaffe was at its prime, allies or soviets could not launch normal day attacks without heavy losses, this is why allies have berely any plane based off maps, while axis have plentiful with 2 exclusively luftwaffe oriented doctrines, it is also why all axis air strikes are more cost effective, maybe except SCAS vs P-47.

Oh wait...

Agreed, the US superior airpower is under used for the USF and yes, if included this should more than compensate for the lack of heavy tanks.

Reading lesson of the day:
Luftwaffe Ground Forces Doctrine.

The only German faction that is 1944-1945 is Oberkommando (or maybe you are playing another game? Would explain a lot actually), please list all the air strikes the faction has. One paratroops drop, that's it.

Which doesn't have one of the most potent plane based offmaps that grants free squad and can be used in FOW at all.

Wait again...
