How does it go?
I think it would be intersesting match-up for tournaments. Not too unrealistic either, t-34/85s did fight easy eights in korea.

USF has trouble with snipers, but riflemen might wipe the field of conscripts.
Of course, maxim spam maxim spam maxim spam, not to mention ZiS 3 comes from the same Tier as maxims (no AA HT)
It seems that the Soviets should counter the USF pretty well, and throughout the game.
However, the USF will have a huge edge in mobility with the AA HT or m20.
But I don't think riflemen will handle well against maxim spam. Maxim spam just might dominate this match up.

I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.
OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.

You won't know pain until you try to fight sniper+guard spam with USF. I doubt USF could win that with their overreliance on light vehicles with no smoke except for M20, and overly bleed happy infantry.
