Will never be buying a Battlefield ever again, they took the Activision aproach, fuck them. BF2 was the greatest and my last BF.

Never buying a CoD/BF again :D

Looks fun, but I only saw one new game play technique, the double site mechanic that MW3 had fist. The multiplayer is really going to have to blow me away before I will consider picking this up. Other wise its waiting for a sale.

Boooooooring...

Same predictable shit happening every single time. Seen the same shit over the past decade in every CoD/BF game. And published by EA is already a no for me.

I'll get ArmA 3 instead. More realism, tactical teamplay (no 'terminator style' -> I can do it all by myself, like BF/CoD) and it will never get reptitive because you can make your own missions :)

My brother thought it was BF3 when he entered my room while I was watching this... If nothing changes in the multiplayer I'm not buying it.

The one thing I hate about Battlefield is the weakness of the assault rifles. Increase the recoil on full auto, increase dmg so that using them as semi auto mid range precision rifles is a viable way to play the game. MGs and Snipers are the only weapons that can kill effectivelyy from more than about 100m, which is pretty silly.

DICE and EA fucked us over with BF3. I'm not letting it happen to me again.

What was that bad about it? Other than what I said about assault rifles just being glorified SMGs and the stupid origin launcher needed to join a server, I thought the rest of it was pretty good.

They promised so much that didn't make it in the game. For example mod tools, battlerecorder and commander. It's dumbed down compared to previous titles and how they said that they were going to make bf3 e-sport friendly which it's not beacuse it lacks a bunch of features. And that blue filter, urgh.

it's not a bad game but it's not the game it could of been.

I was unimpressed.

I was hoping they could do something new once again like they did with BC2 or several of the previous games.

Meh, BF3 with 64 players, better fps and no blue filter. PC players have been enjoying that since 2005.

Looks like BF3 to me but I do like the gameplay of BF a lot better than COD. Of course that may have changed as I haven't played the latest CoD but that's just MHO. Even with the free weekend offered I never touched the latest CoD. Hear the zombie mode is noce though.

I enjoyed BF3, but I liked Bad Company 2 more. I enjoyed the BF4 trailer, but I only saw one new gameplay mechanic. So far not enough to prove its an actual sequel and not an 65 dollar expansion.

Dude, only thing you need is a side mounted iron sights and EA money and you have a sequal.

Wow, talk about generic. They even re-used a ton of stuff from BF3 (RU recon, VDV Buggy, nade throw animation, etc.).

That being said, they 'CoDified' bf3 too, and I still enjoyed it. A bf3 re-skin, only better, might not be such a bad thing.

BF went away from what I always loved it for, that everyone was equal and only skill counted.

BF3 ruined it with unlocks. Kinda the same way CoH2 seems to go albeit in a less degree.
