Everyone needs to start somewhere and this helps promoting the game after all, so good luck.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Have you ever considered that CoH2 shoutcasts have such little views because every video is about 50 minutes long? Very few viewers have the time to watch this.
It's nine minutes because it's a niche concept, condensed shoutcasts of the action end of games. It's meant to be fun and easy to consume.
This is exactly what I meant.

If you want "easy to consume" then show highlights of a top tier matchup at normal speed. Don't show the replay at double speed, because it presents a wrong image of the game.

Actually this is quite an interesting idea A_E. Personally I believe it would work better if you flow through an entire game, editing the key moments from early, mid and late game and condensing into the one short cast. Personally, I feel its a bit random starting somewhere near the end of the game (2x speed) and not seeing the story prior to it. You are right though the more chaotic stuff occurs mid/late game. I am just an early game fan boy

I can also have fun watching full games from the beginning to the end.

Oh and i have a perfect idea for all People who only like to watch the end of casts: Click with the mouse on the end of a Video and you will only watch the end and skip early and mid game.On YouTube Videos you can always choose for yourself which part of the Video you wanna see just by clicking on the timeline of the Video.
This idea was absolutely pointless and maked no sense.
If People doesnt like to watch a 50 minutes Long epic game they can just manualy start to watch the Video at 40 minutes or something to only watch the last 10 minutes of a game.
This was by far the worst casting idea i ever saw.

A_E's attempt may have been an epic failure (I dunno I didn't get to watch it), but that is the price of trying new shit. You never really know what's going to work before you try it out.
When someone finds a way to make the casts shorter in a way that makes sense, he's going to get more views and CoH2 is going to get more players and a better community.
Affe's reply was utterly Youtube-worthy, I wish he'd have kept it there...

I like the idea of condensed highlights. Maybe not at 2x speed, but 4-5 minute versions of games, heavily edited, would be quite popular IMO. Particularly tourney games.

In the middle of editing one now, it wasn't an epic failure the way I tried it just, but StephenJF was right, editing will be a way better way to do it.
