Ok, I'm going to say this one last time because I'm feeling like a broken record.
There is no pay to win in CoH2

I have said it, Lynx has said it, Quinn has said it. We can't talk about what those things are specifically; game information is controlled by the marketing department, and marketing has several agreements with several publications both online and off to get 'first dibs' at some information. We aren't trying to deceive you guys, we aren't trying to trick you - we aren't holding back information and rubbing our hands together while twirling our mustaches.
If you don't feel comfortable pre-ordering yet, then don't. All will be revealed well before the game goes live, so you'll still have a chance to find out what everything is and still pre-order for the bonuses.

Its very real and now, because I mostly play COH2, my recommended tags are: RTS, Strategy and Pay 2 Win.

Hardly surprising given that new DLC commanders tend to be initially just a 'tad' too powerful.
... and that the commander system/choice are the only way to expand the games strategic options.
That steam, the central sales hub, now offers tags is of course unfortunate - but:
Really, this tag shouldn't be a surprise.
P2W allegations surfaced pretty early on and nothing was done to address this issue.

Thats ok, I wasn't the one who discovered it, just a friend of mine who plays coh2 but doesn't browse this forums. This is pretty embarassing tbh. Ahh relic
Can't say I can recommend this game to anyone with a straight answer. Two friends of mine asked me on seperate occasions in the last week, I always had to start my answer with "Welllllll... you see the thing is.."

I wonder if Relic will blame this time to butt-hurt russians and haters like they did with the metacritic reviews, instead of admitting that they went over-aggressive with their DLC policy.
@Babaroga, Steam deleted that tag, probably by the word "whoring". Try "DLC Abuse"
At least, I'm glad that "The Witcher" is doing better in the sales than CoH2. CDProjekt is a company that really cares about their customers.

It's user defined tags.
They can be added on the store page. At least I saw such a button about 2 hours ago.
As this is still a 'beta' version so it might be limited to english atm.

I would love that only people who purchased the game could add tags.
That way they will be more legitimate, keeping away haters and negative tags really indicating dissapointed customers.

Nope, you can do one of two things.
Go to store page, "For You" Tab > Browse all Recommended tags > Pay 2 win
Or simply search Pay 2 Win in the store search

Sorry, I should have been more precise:
Comprehensive P2W allegations (not rumors or fearful assumptions) surfaced pretty early after release.
Nothing tangible was done to address this issue.
EDIT:
Purging the official forums of all p2w posts hardly counts as countermanding this poisonous allegation.
