maybe put the name of the commander a bit more separated make a whole row thats isolated just for there name.
edit: also increasing the size of the commander images i think would be nice somthing similar to the art file that th elast guy posted i feel that the commander images are 2 small don't present as well.

I am sure you have thought about further enhancement and here are just some random thoughts/suggestions:
mouse over: when you hoover your mouse over an ability icon, it increases in size and you can read the details of the ability selected.
Searching for abilities: allows you to select certain abilities you like and based on your selection, all generals that have those abilities will be shown.

it all looks good when continuous is checked. if thats off, its no longer in 2 rows like it used to be. even the ability and cp images are all out of alingment. maybe thats just for me though

Wooof, what browser are you using? Tested in firefox and explorer looks good there. It does however look borked in chrome. Thx for pointing out. Will see what can be done about this.

Be nice to have a darker greyish back-round to page and lighter text, Most of the ability icons have a dark image and its hard to focus on small detailed images like that when they are on a bright back-round.
Also a large mainly white screen is a bit garish in a low light situation in which most of us use our PC's, not easy on the eyes.

i would suggest somthing like the coh2 ui (the colors anyways) blue or brown. but that is for later still in beta

Maybe you could add some feature:
- Showing the name of the ability while hovering with the mouse cursor
