If I want to place a watch tower, should that be used instead of a normal strat point within a sector?
i.e. I will now have 9 strat points, and a watch tower, instead of 10 normal point?
Will the economy function the same as if I just had 10 strat points as normal.

the watch tower does not provide any resources. That doesn't mean you can't do what you stated however. Rules are meant to be broken so give it a try
simply put if you have less points you'll have a lower economy pacing to your map.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. That clears it up.
So playing on the safe side, if you do place a watch tower, have it as an extra sector.

The watchtower that automatically grants visibility on the map, like in Prypjat Winter.
It's located in the tactical objectives subfolder.
On the watchtower not, the wooden ones that are in Minsk are indestructable until crushed by a medium vehicle...
