Bug that you cant cap points?

Just had to forfeit a 2v2 today because me and my fellow teammate were unable to capture points a few minutes in the game. When standing in the circle the ticker would load but stop at 100% and the enemy team would keep control of the territory. Funny enough this bug started to happen when they had more then 1 VP, making the game an instant forfeit. Has anyone else seen this bug?

scorched earth does not work on victory points themselves
but they work on territory and resource points, denying capture for 1,5 minutes and resource generation for the soviet player (if triggered)

Also with the major you can lock down points, when the major is vet 3

I did not know that! But it was double soviet or are we talking about the commissar? Anyway I remember that it was also for VP's but I will re watch the game just to be sure.
