Tac map is a poor substitute for decent zoom levels. It's also an unfair advantage over those who don't use it yet.
Let people zoom at whatever levels they want, let them choose a good view without having to use a tertiary map feature (tac map).
There's no issue here, if people can choose the zoom level they prefer.

CoH1 zoom level did it right, change my mind. I feel Relic knew how unoptimized CoH2 was so they zoomed in as close as possible for performance and now we have a divided community.

A lot of other RTS's let you zoom out and in as much as you want. Overall, I'd rather have this than the COH2 zoom levels, which seem really small even in comparison to COH1.
