In my opinion the Uhu is in a good spot at the moment. The only thing thats a bit odd for my taste, is the beam of the searchlight since it permanentely gives away its position to the enemy. Because it can´t defend itself I guess it would be better to remove the beam. What do you think, do you even use it?

There's probably little reason for it to have the visible beam, though it isnt terribly long, is it? Is there much of a situation in which you'd be able to see the beam but not also have already seen the UHU? As far as I know, it doesnt even render unless you can already see the vehicle.

Its like being spotted by a flare. All vision is either quiet close or has some telltale sign.
My favorite is the burning wreckage of a recon plane.

There's not exactly a universal balance of vision. Some have tells, and other units like a 222, 221, pathfinders, ect. have no tell at all they are spotting you. The beam was back when it literally marked targets through fog with a red outline, basically being a map hack.
