Is there something other than vetos that determines what maps get played?
Yesterday all I played was Nexus and faymonville, today all I am getting is angoville and crossroads playing about 2 games on each.

The god of CoH decides every day anew which maps will be played 24/7 for as long as he pleases.
You can do a sacrificial downrank and hope that he will let go you into a region where the meta does not matter and no maps get vetoed anymore.
