I have edited the abp files of certain units to add weapons. I am doing a Hungarian mod & wanted them to use the Boyse AT rifle & Grease guns, as they look more like their weapons than the German Pz39 & Mp40.
I have done the entries correctly, they show in game fine... but the Boyse is not really held, it just kind of clings to the soldiers torso. They dont shoot it properly either. The Grease Guns all present fine & are held correctly, but when they fire, the muzzle flash is shooting off 90' to the left.
Is there something more I need to do here or is this a game limitation?

Most of the WFA weapons require the 'NewMotionTree.abp' instead of the 'CompleteMotionTree.abp':

What other weapons are in the .abp file of the entity? Because some weapons conflict with each other when they are in the same .abp file.

Yes, I bumped into that with the MPO44 & IR Mp44.... that was really annoying!!!!
But that just meant the MP44 where invisible.
I will have a play & see if I can track that down. It seems an odd thing to happen. Thanks for the idea.
The Hungry mod is close.... just a few skins to do & then some play testing... it has a good feel. I am happy with it.
