I've been using an osttruppen to t3 strat that has been working decent, but I'll check this out for sure!

I really enjoy playing Prostruppen with HMG spam into fast oswind, thanks to the supply drop. It work really well both against UKF and USF

+1 though sometimes I go for the more safe option of P4 if I suspect that the opponent might be on the verge of being able to push out a medium tank :)

Cant really speak out of 1v1 experience, but isn't Osttruppen usually a horrible idea vs USF? Riflemen with BARs and/or grenades are too mobile and just melt through Osttruppen. Yeh you usually have an HMG42 next to your Osttruppen, but how u wanna protect it from flanks or when it needs to re-locate after a USF smoke nade?

Osttruppen cant really cut it in these situations vs riflemen imo

It´s primarily all in strategy. You focus your whole ealry game around 2 hmgs and 3 ostruppens so you can afford supply drop later on. This transits into fast oswind, that can come just 1-2 minutes after stuart (you don´t build tier1 tier2 [only if enemy get´s m20, to counter it with 222] and also get 50 fuel in supply drop).

Later on, if you haven´t won the match with fast oswind, you´ll start building pgrens and possibly get p4 so you do not get completely outscaled.

I find Brits like to turtle & use their deadly AT guns (the best in the game imo).

This build confuses them slightly and voids their deadly AT guns with wasted MP, allowing you to hold the majority of the map with Vp control whilst teching at the same time!

Isn't the 6-pounder like a pak-gun with extra accuracy? If I understand that correctly then there can be really no doubt that it is the best AT-gun for the price :)

I haven't been able to watch your replay yet, but does this strat also work if the opponent goes heavily into bofors and mortar pits or would you then have to swap into t3?

Correct. Same stats except the 6-pounder has 1.5x chance to hit. It depends how you value target weak point and rapid maneuvers as their bonus abilities on which is the best.

I suppose that is true, and TWP is certainly a nice vet1 ability.

Still, +50% accuracy though :)
