I'd say that number of games + board says a lot. I mean, maybe this is due to definitions. I define a scrub as being someone not very good but who tries very hard.

Also hf dealing with a panther, kt or tiger with scotts and a stuart.

+1 You need to finish the game as USF and Scotts won't do that. Going scotts means committing to the late game as USf which is not a good thing to put it lightly. I used to always build them when they were really strong right after the USF release but that was a terrible idea from a competitive perspective.

Its a good unit, its in a weird spot. Maybe it should be in captain tier as an upgraded version of pak howie. For 50 fuel and 50 ammo you can upgrade it to scot

Yes, spander is a such sccrub, such as compared to major ownage. But yes, even in my opinion, Scotts are underestimated, two of them stops the blobs really well. Can be rushed by using of captain ability, and first ETA should be around 10 min, where you sholdn't have any problem with armor. Still you have AT gun + zooks, which should stop any early armor agression.
