Nobody is saying preorders shouldn't get in, we're just saying that people with keys from other sources shouldn't be excluded just because they don't have enough money to throw around on video games all the time.

You should expect to get in, but not to have some sort of exclusive access after they lead Eurogamer + Alpha players to believe that they would get immediate access. I downloaded alpha test the second it was released, gave feedback, and plan on paying for the game once its released. Just because you paid in advance doesn't mean you supported the game more, its not like the rest of us expected to get the game for free.

What feedback? You mean like on the alpha forums that were not even working back then? People who have already put down 60-100 dollars on the game have done a lot more to support the game as opposed to taking part in a short lived stress test.
Alpha and eurogamer keys still get in, just a few weeks later. If it matters that much all you have to do is pony up some cash and support the developers.

2) Pre payment =/= investment, I don't know why everyone seems to think that. The only purpose in even pre ordering is for YOUR benefit- so you won't be tempted to go blow the cash while you wait. If Relic was relying on some preorder quota to properly fund the game, there wouldn't be a CoH2. When I pay for the game closer to the release date, it isn't any less supportive than the money you paid.
