Damage, penetration etc... It does not matter since it can be killed in 2 shots.
Jackson can be used very well in defensive tactic but how the hell I suposed to use it offensive? I see 1/10hp Tiger and obvious thing is I should finish it but with Jackson it's impossible. It can't self spot (it does not have roof so I guess it's easy to take
binoculars to increase sight...) It does not have front armor, it does not have penetration good enough. So how to finish retreating tank? Most of the time it's suicide mission with little chance to do it.
Panther, Tiger, KT, JT, Ele, IS2, ISU, even SU85 don't have any problems when it comes to chase unit but USF? Glass-cannon Jackson without speed advantage (it's fast but not enough) or Sherman which has problem to penetrate PzIV. OST and OKW can use blitz, kill unit, smoke, reverse or self spot. SU can self spot or use huge IS2 front armor.
US Forces don't have any advantage when it comes to late-game. All you can do it's micro.
The worst is when Axis player have Ele or JT which properly used can completly push back Jacksons and make them useless.
Maybe increase cost, give it true armor (it had over 100mm in some places) and increase hp.
Or just give us commander with Pershing.
By the way, Jacksons alone, wihtout P47, are meh.

That feature in coh1 was good, when i was unsure what i wanted to play as, i just picked random and played with factions i hadn't had much experience before ( OF Factions ). Got me into playing more PE and i got better in the game overall. I don't play soviets in coh2 cause the faction doesn't appeal to me, but if i would get it with random pick, i would have no other choice than to try and win, who knows, maybe even start to like the faction. AT nade/Button and SU85 will shine. Only advantage Jackson has over SU is mobility. Vet 3 SU85 has just insane RoF, can spot, has better penetration and does not die in 2 shots, yet it's still UP a bit. ________________________ US Forces have one huge issue. Chasing units. How the hell USF should finish 1/10hp retreating KT/Tiger? Chances to penetrate at max range are none. 90% cases, tank will retreat, get repairs and get vet. On the other hand SU, OST and OKW dont have such problem. Panther with blitz, front armor, pen can easily finish any unit. Same thing about JT, KT, Tiger, IS2, ISU. What's more, if you won't pick up P47 it's probably GG. Imagine situation where OST players has to take JU doctrine because if they won't, they will struggle with Shermans and won't kill them. Sure, but it's not about physics, history but balance. Grenades are very poweful. No matter who is throwing. Grenades can sometimes surprise you can wipe your squad. Molotovs can't surprise You and even if, molotovs won't wipe you in a second like normal grenade. Molotovs can't destory building (at least I did not see anything like that) while regular grenades can. In: COH2 Balance |

You have to think about the fact that the molotov is the only grenade besides the rifle grenade that detonates on the moment it hits the ground. So it needs a more obvious animation to give the enemy the possibility to dodge it. But grenades make one explosion so if you won't dodge it, you can be wiped in a second. Molotovs make damage per second so this "explosion" is not so powerful like grenades because you can lose 1 model and just step out of the fire. In: COH2 Balance |

Usefull Medium tank instead of very late-game and very rare tank is nerf to faction? Well, I see a lot of complaints about lack of medium tank. You still have schrecks but on different unit and Volks would get AI upgrade + Panzerfaust. Where the hell you see those nerfs?! If Rifles come with sticks and I could pay 60 muni for LMG, why not?
