Thread: Received accuracy vs Infantry armour7 Jan 2015, 04:52 AM Tanks are immune to small arms because of armor, not because of a special property. Unless HMG42 AP rounds are magical... (So i might be wrong. Hadnt tested giving infantry ridiculously high pen and have them shoot at tanks. ) Armor makes infantry visually take a lot of hits, in which i referred to battles between conscripts and grenadiers of old as "cap gun" skirmishes - no one would get hurt from weapons. But i would think received accuracy makes HMG's less effective as opposed to armor, in which HMG's have more than one penetration. Technically your suggestion would make HMG's more useful against infantry with super received accuracy. In: COH2 Gameplay

Its the only unit badass enough to be able to zoom around at the edge of the map, come behind the enemy's artillery (priest, katyusha, scott, as well as anything non-turreted), finish it off, and reverse blitz safely to your base because you have awesome armor and a good health pool. Granted you dont hit a mine or get a lucky at nade/at rifle nade on you. In: COH2 Gameplay

A Puma is never going to be able to kill a supported scott due to it's weak armor and low health. 1 AT grenade and it might as well just self destruct. Because the puma is so easy to kill, especially with its good speed, smoke, and high sight range as well as 50 attack range. Durability is not always raw health and armor. And a supported Scott. Ive tried all the 1941 ToW on General, and the KV- 1 and t34 are impossible to counter (also, certain times the t70 and m3 have a ton more health for specific missions). Pak40 is the only weapon that can harm them, but ive managed to beat the VP battles with mobile defense, since the puma is a life saver and ostruppen spam works against AI. Given how bad the panzerbüsche is, i dont know why the PTRS has to be doctrinal... In: COH2 Balance

But when the blobs come with heavy armor, you get your ass handed to you since you cant fight both. In: COH2 Balance

It was armed with a fancy 77mm HV cannon that was pretty powerful. They were still classified as Cruisers and would be a slightly weaker and lighter armored pseudo panther, more or less. Its only a bit bigger than its little brother, the Cromwell. Some Canadian armor: Brand new "Brits" -Commonwealth I would like. Heavy armored infantry tanks to soak up damage followed by Cruiser tanks to knock out enemy armor. But infantry tanks still bite; The Mark VII Churchill was the main late war infantry tank, and it was armed with a sufficient 75mm (in which models before had 2/6 pounders). In: COH2 Gameplay

Wouldnt really make sense as it was probably obsolete by 1944 And the t34/76 (well, the gun) wasnt? As well as the su-85... Besides, its a game and it has a role. Regardless, adding or removing with a "should" simply doesnt happen with Relic. More commanders/content with the kv-1 is a possibility. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: KV1?4 Jan 2015, 05:51 AM Yes, KV-1 is the final piece in making Soviet T4 perform at its best. You get SU-85 AT with KV-1 meatshield and katyusha rocket artillery to blast away anything you dont like. SU-76 is there to taunt the enemy that you are capable of building a giant piece of crap in your spare time as a joke. But yeah, the kv-1 is only in one commander. D: Granted, one very good commander with shock elite infantry and B4 super-heavy tank eraser. In: COH2 Balance

That does not sound efficient. Shooting at it with a tank/AT gun and being stalled for 15 seconds gets you the same result. In: COH2 Gameplay
