Both howitzers cost too much compared to the effectiveness of basic mortars. I usually kill the crew of the pack howitzer and replace it with RE crewmen. Weapon crewmen are supposed to have cheap reinforcement costs. :/
And here i thought i was the only person who left my Guards' PTRS lying on the ground, as well as ignoring PTRS on the ground as Axis. Its too much of a hinderance, which is stupid. A bazooka or a panzerschreck has more AI ability than a PTRS. Now how does that make sense?
I still think my suggestion to make Guards shoulder their PTRS is a good way to broaden their potential to combat infantry. Soviets have strong backs, no?
It feels like a crime against humanity when the two models of my Guards have to fire at the enemy infantry with their PTRS.
I told a volksgrenadier squad to vault a wall, and two of the models met up with the enemy and died while the other 3 models were 150 meters behind the other two, now dead, models.
Its a joke in early game.
I think its too strong because the mobility.
The setup time should be longer, its too easy to relocate.
Reasonable, so sure. (I was waiting for someone to come up with a valid reason like that, the recovery after being smoked/chased back a little is too fast)
